Get Your GED

It’s true – the more education you have, the more MONEY you will make. Give yourself a competitive edge and the opportunity to increase your earning power by completing your high school diploma –OR- getting your GED, General Educational Development, which is equivalent to a high school diploma. In 2014, the GED test was updated and has four assessments:

  1. Literacy (reading and writing)
  2. Mathematics
  3. Science
  4. Social Studies

Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Centers have resources, including GED preparation classes taught by certified teachers, to help you study for your GED.
