WIOA In-School Youth Eligibility
You may qualify for Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas’s Youth Services if you meet all of the following criteria: 1) You are between the ages of 16-24, 2) You are a U.S. Citizen, 3) Registered with Selective Service (for males 18 and over), 4) You are Low-Income and 5) You meet one or more of these barriers:
- Basic Skills Deficient;
- An English Language Learner;
- Offender;
- A Homeless individual
- A individual in Foster Care;
- Pregnant or Parenting Youth;
- An individual with a disability; or
- Require additional assistance to complete an educational program, or to secure and hold employment
WIOA Out-Of-School Youth Eligibility
You may qualify for Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas’s Youth Services if you meet all of the following criteria: 1) You are between the ages of 16-24, 2) You are a U.S. Citizen, 3) Registered with Selective Service (for males 18 and over), 4)You are Low-Income and 5) meet the definition of Out of School Youth at WIOA §681.210 and 6) meet one or more of these barriers:
- School dropout;
- Homeless;
- Foster child;
- Pregnant or parenting;
- Offender; or
- A low income individual who require additional assistance to complete an educational program, or to secure and hold employment
